Packing up.

My Mom called the other day and as we were chatting about packing for the upcoming vaca she asked if I would be able to share a suitcase. I love and adore my Mother and agree that the baggage fee’s are crazy but couldn't help but laugh. 1. She is asking this of the girl that brings two bags and a purse for an overnight trip and 2. because the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. But in my very best effort, I am trying to strategically pack (with the hours dwindling) to get the most outfit choices while taking up the least room. My plan is to pack a few dresses and maxi skirts that could be dressed up or down for the occasion. A couple tops that can be paired with some light weight shorts or jeans depending on the weather. Lots of jewelry choices to add to the plain pieces and shoes that could go with any option. I do however need to purchase a traveling jewelry case. My F21 bags are the typical travel method as of now. Any suggestions?

Crafty.

Since I will be vacationing next weekend, after a fat nap and a big lunch, this sunday was spent crafting. Sadly I will not be in attedance at my friends bridal shower next weekend but I'm super excited for her and the party guests to get to toast from their own mugs. I know these have been done before but I love the color scheme and personalized touch. I also made a "best wishes" wreath for people to write letters to the B2B and something they can keep for their future home.

one. week.

In one (hopefully very quick) week, I will be enjoying the sights, sounds and amazing weather of San Antonio, TX! And I. can't. wait!! I am seriously giddy about packing warm wear!

I must admit I wasn't as jazzed about Missoni's Target collection as most. This Jason Wu collection however . . . I'm obsessed! The colors, the style, everything .  . . so make sure to mark your calendars, get your running shoes laced up and be ready to throw some elbows :) - February 5th it hits stores!!  

Done and done.

I love sunday's like today. Coffee, lunch down the block, running errands and feeling super productive. I haven't had one of those for a long time but today was one of them. Happy Sunday!

On numerous occasions I have thrown this skirt into my "get rid of pile" but something has always made me save her at the last minute. After six years of being spared. . she's back and making for great work attire!

I made a pact.

Well if I don't start working out I am going to pay . . .literally! I downloaded an app on my phone called gympact where you promise to make it to the gym a certain amount of times a week. If you don't make your commitment, you pay a certain amount a day. If you do make your commitment, you and the others who fulfilled your promise split the money of those who didn't.
