Tobi

Have you guys ever heard of the online store Tobi? If not, I feel like I am doing you a big favor and you owe me! :) I found it recently on another blog and am addicted to checking the site every morning for new arrivals and deals. Their stuff is soo cheap and currently very bright and springy. Here are a few of my favorites and warm weather must haves.

Hey Hott Lips

Look at me in my fancy new lipstick! I must admit I have stayed my distance from red lipstick since I decided to make a statement on NYE of my Junior year in high school. Let's just say that when I got the pictures back from the evening - my red teeth made the statement! I know that was a long time ago and red lips are so very in, so I tried it again. You must also check out Julia from Gal Meets Glam. She is a lipstick expert and shares her favorites. I know she is adorable so don't go falling in love with her and forgetting about me . . . just kidding, I don't blame you!

Can we say Zoolander? Apparently I have yet to master the serious face. These pictures crack me up but if you can't laugh at yourself then I will probably be the only one not laughing. Regardless, the photographers and the ladies putting on SOHA are doing an amazing job and I am very lucky to be a part of it all! Don't forget to check them out on facebook and "like" their page. Also pictured with me is the Denim Saloon "male model" (sorry I didn't catch his name) and a group shot of all of the participating boutique's models.  It is going to be such a fun event. SOHA

As much as I’d love to say “I sat front row at so many great NY Fashion Week shows this weekend”, like many of the bloggers I follow (insert super jealous tone), I cannot. Instead I was lucky enough to be involved in a fun little photo shoot for a great cause.  Jenny Galley of Denim Saloon – located in Dundee – asked if I would model some adorable pink Joe’s jeans and a chambray shirt to be used as marketing material for SOHA (Style Omaha Help All). A great benefit featuring many of Omaha’s best clothing boutiques and bringing awareness to the Abide Network – a dynamic multi-ethnic movement of caring people committed to the transformation of hopelessness in our city. Here are a few of the shots that my trusty photographer Meg was so kind to take and my friend Kammie edited. If you are free March 31st, make your way down to the House of Loom for the fashion show to support this great cause! Also, make sure to stop in to Denim Saloon. They have great stuff for guys and girls. Happy Monday all!

TJ Maxx . . you have done it again and I can't decide if I am mad about it or not. I go to get a few things at the grocery store and the allure of some cheap finds pulls me in and spits me out with some adorable summer wear. I can't wait to strap these sandals on. Stinking Nebraska snow! I did have a paper girl when I was younger who wore plastic bags over her sandals in the winter . . . it's a thought!

Today was one of THOSE days and I hate THOSE days!  . . . nothing a little starbucks, a couple screams in the car and some fresh air couldn't fix.
